Prior to becoming Technology Penguin I worked with CCTV, primarily repairing digital video recording systems. I have worked on many different brands including Everfocus, Tibet MagicRadar, HikVision, LG, Dedicated Micros, Hacetron, TruVue, ITX and MaxDVR.
Since starting up Technology Penguin I have continued to repair systems for my previous employer and their clients and even a couple of end users. I have access to manufacturer parts for Everfocus, LG and HikVision. I have some limited 2nd hand spares for discontinued Tibet, MaxDVR, TruVue and ITX. Many DVRs can be repaired with generic power supplies and HDDs. Tibet DVRs are essentially windows PCs with capture cards and DVR software. As long as the capture cards are ok I can fully refurbish any Tibet MagicRadar DVR.
For any other DVR it is possible that I could still get it working. Don’t throw it out, give me a look at it.
